Features
As the number of users and the amount of data grows, how to find a storage which can offer complete data protection, good performance, with reliability and high scalability is the key for all enterprises and companies. The EN-2123 6G SAS NAS is a Unified storage system, which supports NAS/DAS(SAS/Fiber)/iSCSI based on latest proNAS 3.1 operating system. Except for basic NAS functions, it supports a variety of advanced storage management and application features such as VAAI, HA, Thin-Provisioning, etc, and it can be deployed easily in any IT environment since it supports multiple interfaces for different host server and clients.
EN-2123 6G is highly scalable for storage capacity and host interfaces. With SAS JBODs, it can support up to 96 drives, up to 384TB, and users can just add on JBOD for capacity expansion when needed. There are 1Gb/s Ethernet ports as default I/O interface, and more 1Gb/s or 10Gb/s NICs can be added on to enhance system performance. Installing Fibre HBA on NAS can have NAS connecting to Fibre SAN, so it will be seamless connection for EN-2123 to your IT installment.
For data protection, EN-2123 supports RAID level 0, 1, 10(1E), 3, 5, 6, 50, 60 and JBOD mode, and drives can be set hot spares, have automatically hot rebuilding and online capacity expansion within the enclosure. EN-2123 has a fully-featured backup solution including manual or scheduled backup for file, folder, and shares, and it can be backup and restore from multiple local or remote devices. And there are volume clone, snapshot, remote replication, and data copy for options, which are all designed to ensure and enhance your precious data.
